Returns, Refunds and Cancellations

Last updated: 27 June 2026

This policy explains your right to cancel, return items and request a refund when you buy from The Colour Rebel. It sits alongside our Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. Nothing here affects your statutory rights.

Who we are. The Colour Rebel, run by Jodie Kemp. For anything in this policy, contact: jodie@thecolourrebel.com.

Your general right to cancel

If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you usually have 14 days to cancel a distance purchase (one made online) without giving a reason. The 14 days run from the day you receive goods, or from the day you buy digital content or a service.

Some important exceptions apply to digital products, services that have already started, and made-to-order items. These are set out below.

Digital products (The Style Clarity Reset and Wardrobe Reboot)

These are digital products you get instant access to.

When you buy and open one of these, you are asking us to give you immediate access. By doing so you agree that you lose your 14-day right to cancel once access begins. This is normal for instant-access digital content and it is the trade-off for getting it straight away.

Because of this, we do not offer refunds on digital products once you have accessed the content, except where the product is faulty or not as described (see "Faulty or not as described" below).

Wardrobe Reboot goodwill guarantee. Wardrobe Reboot comes with a 7-day guarantee. If you start it and decide within 7 days of purchase that it is not right for you, email us and we will refund you in full. This is a goodwill guarantee we offer on top of your legal rights.

The Personal Colour Analysis service

Colour analysis is a personal service we carry out for you.

You can cancel and receive a full refund at any time before the analysis begins, which means before you submit your photos and questionnaire.

Once you submit your photos and we begin your analysis, you are asking us to start the service within the cancellation period, and the right to cancel ends once the work is delivered. If we have started but not finished, you may cancel and pay only for the work done up to that point.

If anything about your report is wrong or not as described, contact us and we will put it right.

Physical books

Bought on Amazon. If you bought a book through Amazon, returns and refunds are handled by Amazon under their returns policy. Please use your Amazon account to request a return.

Bought from our shop. If you bought a physical book or product directly from our online shop, you have 14 days from receiving it to tell us you want to cancel, and a further 14 days to send it back. Items should be returned unused and in their original condition. You pay the cost of return postage unless the item is faulty. We refund you within 14 days of receiving the item back, or proof that you have sent it.

Made-to-order and personalised products

Some products in our shop, such as calendars, greetings cards, wall prints and phone cases, are made to order or printed on demand specifically for you. Under consumer law, made-to-order and personalised items are exempt from the 14-day cancellation right, so these cannot be returned for a refund unless they are faulty or not as described.

Faulty or not as described

Whatever you buy, if it is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. For physical goods this includes a 30-day right to reject faulty items for a full refund, and the right to a repair or replacement after that. For digital products it includes a repair, replacement or refund where the content is faulty.

Please contact us at jodie@thecolourrebel.com with your order details and, where relevant, a photo of the issue, and we will sort it out.
